After spending many years in the accounting field, Karin opened her own financial consulting firm in 1996. Her primary function was to realign businesses that were in financial difficulty and guided her clients to succeed in their ventures using her financial skills, and also the use of broader skills in visualising, creating and marketing.

Realising where her preferences lie, which was empowering others and being a visionary she gradually changed from the financial sector to producing events in the corporate and community sector in 2003.

Having changed her field, she has rubbed shoulders with the country's elite and through this has opened many doors for the community and for development on a more corporate scale.

With her financial background, being a visionary and a opportunity by the renown strategist Clem Sunter, Karin then became a facilitator and speaker doing strategy workshops with decision makers which led her to also re-engineer companies and guide them to deliver their outcomes.

A little inside information on Karin is that she has two boys that keep her on her toes, four Siamese cats and two big dogs. She enjoys playing the piano and the outdoor life which include quad biking, horse riding, camping, hiking and generally surrounds herself with positive energy.
